We are blessed to have Abner and McKenna Arias serving on staff with Ride Nature as our Costa Rica mission coordinators. Currently living in Matapalo, Costa Rica, a small village in the Guanacaste region, and working with Casa Vida church leading outreach in the community, Abner and McKenna are working to establish partnerships with the local churches and minister to the youth of Guanacaste through action sports outreach events and discipleship opportunities. We are currently working to raise funds to purchase property in Guanacaste with the dream of building a youth center/mission base in Costa Rica as well as develop a business as missions model to support the work happening in Costa Rica and Abner and Mckenna.Learn More
Nicaragua holds a very special place in our hearts as this was the first country we began investing in when Ride Nature was founded and location of of our very first mission trip. From Managua, to Popoyo, to San Juan Del Sur we are excited to say that the Jesus Christ is moving in Nicaragua through surf and skate outreach and consistent and regular outreach via partner ministries on the grounds. Currently we are focusing our attention on the city of San Juan Del Sur as we work alongside Ride Nature mission coordinators Esau and Heather Caraway. Despite it’s incredible beauty, SJDS is a city of great need especially spiritually. Esau and Heather are investing into this community through regular surf outreach, discipleship, and also running a home church. We look forward to continuing to invest in this city with hopes of seeing a revival take place and this city transformed.Learn More
In 2012 we were blessed with the opportunity to partner with the ministries JSAW and Christian Skaters for a mission trip to Panama to not only build a skatepark, but to also help launch a ministry that is currently working to reach out to the youth of Panama City. Sitting literally right beside the Panama Canal, “Canal Skate” is currently hosting weekly Bible studies, outreach events, and discipling youth on a regular basis through the park that our team was able to help build and we look forward to continue working with them in the years to come. We are currently leading short term mission trips to Panama City to work alongside Canal Skate and continue investing in this ministry and supporting their efforts to impact Panama through action sports outreach, evangelism, and discipleship.Learn More

In 2005, in a rural village situated in the heart of Ethiopia, a man named Israel Dejene brought home a gift that he had received while studying abroad in Sweden. This gift was a skateboard. We are currently working on a new film project that will share Israel’s story with the world. The film “MEGABI” documents Israel’s life growing up in Ethiopia, the struggles of poverty, stories of redemption, and how one board sparks life into a local village while indirectly inspiring a global movement. After traveling to Ethiopia this past year and bringing boards to Israel for the kids in his community we are seeking opportunities to return to Ethiopia and help to further develop the ministry that Israel is doing in Addis Adaba.Learn More View the Film
Shortly after the organization was founded in 2009 we were presented with an opportunity to partner with the ministry; Little Ones Ministries. LOM is currently working both in Mexico and Nicaragua with a mission to serve both physically and spiritually impoverished children with the love of Christ to these kids by providing 2 things: Food and Hope. During our first trip to Mexico we were able to help build a playground for an orphanage that LOM runs as well as host several skate outreach events and visit communities outside of the city. We were stoked to discover that the city of Jerez actually had a pretty well established skate community and the youth were very open to hearing the message of Jesus, especially when it was coming from Christians who SKATED. During a large skate contest/outreach event we held, we were blessed with the opportunity to share the Gospel with many of the youth as well as plug several of them in with discipleship opportunities. We are currently prayerfully seeking a leader to help launch a skate ministry in Jerez and if this is something you would like to learn more about or feel called to be a “skate missionary” please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.Learn More APPLY TODAY
