My wife Nalu and I live in Florianópolis, an island in southern Brazil that breathes nature and action sports.

I grew up in a Christian missionary family and, for many years, closely followed my parents’ pioneering ministry, sharing the Gospel in a relevant way with different tribes and people groups who often had no connection with the church.

In 2014, we moved to Florianópolis, and a whole new world opened up to be explored. I dove deeply into the surf and skate culture. It was an environment full of energy, freedom, and connection, but also marked by emptiness, pressure, and a constant search for validation. At a time when my identity was being shaped, and I lacked strong mentors, I ended up losing my way and living between two worlds.

Everything began to change when I encountered Jesus deeply and decided to fully surrender my life to Him. What was once confusion became clarity. What was once fragmented became purpose.

Today, my wife and I carry a very clear calling: to reach the action sports community with the Gospel in a simple, relational, and relevant way, showing that it is possible to live this lifestyle for the glory of God. I currently work as a head of sales in the technology sector and also serve as a worship leader in our local community. My wife works in marketing and advertising and serves in the church’s media team.

In 2025, as we were seeking God’s direction for how to live out our calling, we met Mark and Damin. They came to Brazil seeking confirmation for the launch of a Ride Nature location in South America. Ride Nature is a global ministry equipping, empowering, and mobilizing leaders within action sports who are committed to carrying the Gospel and making disciples to the ends of the earth.

Everything made sense in a very clear way, both for them and for us. God spoke deeply to us, and together we understood that this was the next step.

We are now entering a new season: dedicating our lives fully to the mission of sharing the Gospel through action sports. This means giving up our professional stability to serve God full-time, be trained, develop strategies, and reach people in Brazil and across South America.
