Ride Nature
friends and family,

All praise to God! He called me to ministry at the age of 17 in my Midwest hometown in 2019. To then expose the gift of action sports in Southern California in 2020. Then, in 2023, He led me to Ride Nature, a ministry that aligns with my heart's desires and God-given gifts. What a privilege to share the Good News through the gifts the Lord has uniquely placed on my heart – surfing and coffee! It has been an absolute joy to serve as the shop manager at The House of Ride Nature for the past three years. During this time, I have seen the Lord move in radical ways, from behind a coffee bar to the local surf breaks. Now in 2026, He is leading me into a new step of faith!

This past year, the Lord has continually reminded me that every desire of my heart has been crafted by His intentional hand. From the way I have been wired to love surfing and long to live in California, to the excitement I feel when I get to see the body of Christ gathered together, God wrote all those desires on my heart. For the past 12 months, I have been planning to move to California, but the Lord redirected me to stay put in Florida. In the midst of feeling some confusion, the Lord revealed that it is HIS plan, not mine.

He reminded me of Psalms 139, “O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path, and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.”

This scripture has brought me much peace and led to deeper trust. By His spirit, I surrendered the desires of my heart and submitted to His perfect plan. Although I do not know every detail, I was led to experience His undeniable peace and confidence in what He has in store. The Lord planted a seed of stoke to stay in Florida as well as a wonder for this next season with Ride Nature.

As a team, we brainstormed what role would complement my God-given giftings — to nurture, connect, and gather. Through prayer, we came to a unified decision to transition me into a new role serving in Partnerships and Development on our global support team. In this role, I’ll be pursuing organization-wide efforts to connect with industry, church, and individual partners, assist our strategic development team, as well as lead events on a global scale. I am in awe of the ways I have witnessed the Lord move through the efforts of the Florida team, and I am so expectant to see more intimately how God is moving through our global ministry efforts.

As each staff member steps out in faith to raise support for their salaries, I will continue to do the same! I would love to invite you to join in what God is doing by becoming a steadfast supporter. As the Lord has been preparing my heart, I believe He is also preparing prayer and financial supporters to come alongside as I serve in full-time missions ministry. I am so grateful for any gift you feel the Lord leading you to give, but it will absolutely be the strength of the steadfast monthly partners that will allow me to fully commit time, zeal, and ultimately life to the mission of sharing the Gospel and making disciples through action sports.

If I am certain of anything, it is the truth of the living Gospel at work in my life and the calling to carry it to those in the various action sports communities. You can trust that your financial investment is being used to share the Gospel, grow the Kingdom of God, and make disciples of Jesus to the ends of the earth! Thank you for your prayers and generosity as we collaborate to bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth!

To the ENDS!

Ministry Testimony

For the Girls Surf Classic Competition was dreamt up to be an encouraging and inclusive space to share Christ’s love organically by providing a valuable event for the women’s surf community. The heart behind the event is to empower female surfers, create a strong, supportive local community in and out of the water, and ultimately host an event that not only showcases the talent of female surfers but also inspires the next generation of shredders. Making waves that last beyond the competition. I got to witness the body of Christ, including Christian surfers, Fellowship of Christian Athletes Surf, and Ride Nature, link arms and collaborate to host this surf competition. The Southern California surf culture is known to be incredibly intimidating, so it was radical to witness 80 athletes participate in this event and in some ways align their hearts to our mission.

While the recap video brings this vision to life, a moment not captured in that video is when I got to pray with a handful of competitors before our heat (our turn to compete against one another). Our demographic of athletes was a mixed bag of believers and nonbelievers, beginners and seasoned athletes, even moms and groms (kid surfers). I was encouraged to see the diversity of women at this event, and the desire for inclusivity. Being mindful to engage every athlete before we competed against one another, I asked the girls how they found out about the event. A few girls were connected to one of the local ministries, and the others had heard about it on social media. Through the tone of the conversation, I gathered that half the girls knew the Lord and the other half had yet to know His love. There, I felt led by the Spirit to ask one of the believing girls if she would be willing to pray over us before our event. Before she started, another girl (who did not know the Lord) asked in a childlike excitement if we should all hold hands.

Although this seems like a small moment, it has encouraged me greatly! In the raw love and support the girls showed for one another, I witnessed the love of Jesus shining and inviting others in, and had full faith that seeds of the Gospel were being planted, not just in this moment but through a multitude of conversations all day. As our team debriefed and shared testimony after testimony, I was in awe of God’s hand and the zeal of the body of Christ to bring His kingdom come. As I reflect on this event, even now, I am feeling stirred up for what the Lord will do this year through For The Girls Surf Classic, as well as every one of our outreach efforts.
