ride nature globalHi, we’re Nicky & Morgan Matveev! We seek to be intentional and trustworthy followers of Jesus—who we love—willing to go on the adventures He calls us to. Home for us is in the middle of the U.S., where life with our two cats is a mix of quiet mornings in the Word, time outdoors, and spontaneous skate sessions together.
Skateboarding has played a big role in both of our lives. For Nicky, it’s been a passion for over 20 years—something that once defined his identity until Jesus completely changed his perspective. For Morgan, skateboarding became a shared love and an unexpected way to connect faith with community. We’ve both seen how God uses something as simple as skating to build relationships, open doors, and share the hope of the Gospel.
Our journey with Ride Nature began in a powerful way. Morgan met Jesus personally on a Ride Nature surf retreat, where she was saved and baptized. That experience sparked a deep passion for creating the same kind of space for others to encounter Him. For Nicky, coming to know Christ brought new purpose and direction—transforming skateboarding from a hobby into a ministry tool.
Now, serving together with Ride Nature, we feel honored to help lead others into that same blend of faith, adventure, and purpose. Whether it’s through mission trips, connecting with local skaters, or simply showing up with open hands and hearts, our goal is to point people toward the love and freedom we’ve found in Jesus.
When we’re not traveling or leading trips, you’ll probably find us playing pickleball, going for sunrise runs, braving a cold plunge, or enjoying a cozy night in. We’re grateful for the simple joys God gives—and for the adventure He continues to lead us on together.
