Shortly after returning to Florida from the first couple of trips that we led as an organization, we began to feel convicted of the need for ministry right in the community we lived.

While our heart and passion was to travel to the ENDS, we were overlooking the those right around us. The last words from Jesus that are found in scripture are in Acts 1:8. He’s speaking to the disciples when he says, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

This passage has not only been the motto and tagline for Ride Nature, but it has laid the foundation for the work that we are leading. When Jesus shared these words with the disciples, they were in Jerusalem. It was the place they were based out of, their local city. 

For us, our Jerusalem is Southwest Florida.
