For 25 years of my life, I lived as a lukewarm Christian; one foot in the church and one foot in the world. I often prayed to God and asked him to bless my efforts to gain my own selfish desires. All the while, never asking Him what he would have for my life. I trudged down the path of self-glorification and self-gratification. Yet all it led me to was exhaustion, disappointment, loneliness, and depression. And it was there, at 28 years old, that Jesus met me! He welcomed me home with open arms and a wild love as I had never felt before. At that moment, Jesus gave me something different than anything I had ever tried. He offered me forgiveness, freedom, and an abundance of life that came through the price he paid on the cross! He offered me a relationship and a life led by the Good Shepherd. This is an offer that I definitely do not deserve, but one that I get to say “yes” to each and every day!

Most recently, the Lord has called me out of my career as a pilot and invited me to step into full-time ministry with Ride Nature. This nonprofit organization is using action sports as a tool for outreach, evangelism, and discipleship. I’m excited to combine two of my passions, my love for action sports and, more importantly, my desire to share the love of Jesus with others.
