In 2012, we traveled to Panama alongside several other organizations to help build a skatepark. We had heard about “Panama Dave” but we had yet to meet in person. That trip forged a friendship that has led to many trips together in the future.

We were sad the day that Dave shared with us that he was moving to Spain, but we knew it was just a matter of time until our paths would cross again on that side of the world. Behind every photo you’ll find someone holding a camera. And most times, you’ll never see them in the photo itself. But in many ways, that’s intentional. You see, it’s through what they create that reveals their identity. Through their creation it also identifies the creator. At the root of everything, you’ll find not just something that has been created, but you’ll find characteristics of the Creator.”
