THE RIDE NATURE DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM

RIDE NATURE DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM (Fort Myers, FL)

• This is a 5.5 month full-time DISCIPLESHIP program based out of Fort Myers, Florida.

JANUARY-JUNE SEMESTER COST: $3,000

• This price INCLUDES all DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM FEES, MINISTRY RESOURCES, BOOKS, HOUSING, utilities, LOCAL OUTREACH AND (1) DOMESTIC MISSION TRIP with all expenses included as well.

• This cost DOES NOT include personal expenses such as gas, insurance, or food. Those costs would need to be raised individually. additionally any international mission trips. Our hope and prayer is that all students take the opportunity to go on at least 1 international mission trip.

JULY-DECEMBER SEMESTER COST: $3,000

• This price includes everything listed above.

DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW

• Daily Biblical classes on theology, biblical studies, spiritual disciplines, local ministry, overseas missions, and more.

• Leadership development through hands on experience being a part of skate, surf, and wake outreach.

• Experience with leading weekly outreach at local skateparks, the beach, and/or at the cablepark.

• Spiritual growth and development through daily classes, Biblical teaching, and one on one discipleship.

• Opportunities to assist with leading and coordinating local outreach events in the community.

• Hands on training and experience while serving (2) shifts per week on the coffee bar at The House of Ride Nature - Fort Myers.

• Involvement with global missions while assisting in the prayer, planning, prep, and involvement of at least (1) international and domestic mission trip during your time with the organization.

• The men’s and women’s discipleship homes are separate and we do not offer or allow mixed gender living arrangements.

• Both homes are fully furnished and we have everything you need for the time of the program.

  • If you would like to bring your own bedding, the beds are all twin beds.

  • We also would encourage you to bring your own surfboard, skate stuff, wakeboard, and/or mountain bike if you’d like to be a part of local bike ministry.

PRE-REQUISITES

• Must be 18-24.

• We are looking for individuals who are interested in growing spiritually and are hungry to be poured into.

  • We use the acronym; F.A.T. (Faithful, Available, Teachable.

• The discipleship program is a full-time program without the ability to work part-time or have a part-time job.

• Must be willing to relocate to Fort Myers, FL during the time of the program.

• Responsible for covering any personal living experiences or personal bills.

• Have a teachable spirit and be willing to serve and lead as needed.

• Be willing to lead by example in your attitude, conduct, and speech.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE

• July 5 - December 20

RIDE NATURE DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM (Oceanside, CA)

• 3 month part-time DISCIPLESHIP program based out of Oceanside, CA.

• LAUNCHING WINTER 2024 (January 13th move in date // January 15th Start Date)

DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW

• Part-Time program with option to work up to 20 hours per week to offset housing expenses.

• Bible and Leadership Classes Daily.

• Weekly Outreach.

• Program is centered around leadership development through hands on experience while serving and being a part of the skate, surf, snow, and MTB community.

• Experience with leading weekly outreach at local skateparks, the beach, and/or on the mountain or trails.

• Spiritual growth and development through daily classes, Biblical teaching, and one on one discipleship.

• Opportunities to assist with leading and coordinating local outreach events in the community.

• Involvement with global missions while assisting in the prayer, planning, prep, and involvement of at least (1) international and domestic mission trip during your time with the organization.

• Men’s and women’s discipleship housing are separate. We do not offer or allow mixed gender living arrangements. Our plan is to offer housing for those that are not local. Depending on the final housing costs, this would be the only expense involved in the Discipleship Program.

• If you would like to bring your own bedding, the beds will all be twin beds.

• We also would encourage you to bring your own equipment ie. surfboard, skate stuff, snowboard, and/or mountain bike.

PRE-REQUISITES

• Must be 18 or older.

• We are looking for individuals who are interested in growing spiritually and are hungry to be poured into.

• The discipleship program is a part-time program (approx 20-25 hours of committed schedule) but will offer the ability to work part-time or have a part-time job.

• Must already be living in CA or be willing to relocate to California during the time of the program.

• Responsible for covering any personal living expenses or personal bills.

• Have a teachable spirit and be willing to serve and lead as needed.

• Be willing to lead by example in your attitude, conduct, and speech.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE (LAUNCHING WINTER 2024)

LATIN AMERICA DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM

• A 3 OR 6 month full-time DISCIPLESHIP program based out of SAN JUAN DEL SUR, NICARAGUA.

• COST: FREE for students coming from Latin America.

DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW

• This program is specifically organized and being offered for individuals who are from Latin America.

  • The majority of classes and training are all in Spanish.

  • There are some situations where we would make an exception to allow a student to come from the States or another country but the ability to speak fluent Spanish is a prerequisite.

• The program is centered around leadership development through hands on experience being a part of skate, surf, and wake outreach.

• Experience with leading weekly outreach at local skateparks and the beach.

• Make sure to check out the weekly schedule via the NICARAGUA location page.

• Spiritual growth and development through daily classes, Biblical teaching, and one on one discipleship.

• Opportunities to assist with leading and coordinating local outreach events in the community.

• Involvement with global missions and short-term mission teams as you have the opportunity to assist in the prayer, planning, prep, and involvement of groups coming to serve alongside our organization on a regular basis.

• The goal is to have each student travel on at least (1) international and domestic mission trip during their time with the organization.

• The men’s and women’s discipleship homes are separate and we do not offer or allow mixed gender living arrangements.

• Both homes are fully furnished and we have everything you need for the time of the program.

  • If you would like to bring your own bedding, the beds are all twin beds.

  • We also would encourage you to bring your own surfboard or skateboard but we do have numerous boards available here at the facility if you’re unable to.

PRE-REQUISITES

• Must be 18 or older.

• Fluent Spanish Speaker

• We are looking for individuals who are interested in growing spiritually and are hungry to be poured into.

  • We use the acronym; F.A.T. (Faithful, Available, Teachable)

• The discipleship program is a full-time program without the ability to work part-time or have a part-time job.

• Must be willing to relocate to Nicaragua during the time of the program.

• Be able to cover the travel expenses or VISA requirements to get to Nicaragua.

• Responsible for covering any personal living experiences or personal bills.

  • We do have scholarships available for those unable to cover these expenses.

• Have a teachable spirit and be willing to serve and lead as needed.

• Be willing to lead by example in your attitude, conduct, and speech.
